Having a large monitor may not solve the problem and neither setting a higher display resolution. The answer is using a multiple-desktop software. This way, you can have your applications and icons for each desktop, thus working faster and more efficient. A software that can help you in this matter is DeskSpace. This is basically a desktop switching application that features six different desktops, offering the possibility to easily switch between them using an intuitive graphical mode.

The software is not difficult to install and supports most of the Windows operating systems and even older computer configurations. It takes up about 16 MB of hard disk space and, so, it's ideal for installing on computers with limited hard disk space.

The program just needs to be launched in order to be used. No additional configuration is necessary. By default, the key combination for switching between desktops is Ctrl and The Windows logo. This can be easily changed from the program's configuration. Besides that, desktop switching can also be launched by double-clicking the system tray icon. After pushing the keys, desktops can be easily switched by using the left and right keys.

DeskSpace supports a total number of six different desktops, each of them having its own programs running and icons arrangement. Right-clicking on the program's icon shown in the system tray will allow a quick selection of the desired desktop.

The software features a lot of settings for customizing the functionality and the visual quality of the application. As such, a 3D accelerator can be used for displaying the desktop switching animation, making it more fluent and taking up less processor power.
